Agent skills for Codex and Claude Code

Design with your agent, not at its mercy.

Six skills that give your agent one consistent way to plan, choose a look, set type and write, and that check the result with you before calling it done. We built this site with them.

Human and agent,
in one shared process.

Why we made these

Your agent shouldn’t decide how your product looks.

Ask a coding agent for an interface and it reaches for its own defaults: a familiar palette, a familiar font, familiar words. Ask again in a new session and last week’s instructions may be gone. We wanted a process we share with the agent, where it does the careful work, checks back, and the decisions stay with us.

  1. The same steps every session

Each skill is a written process your agent loads when the task calls for it, in Codex or Claude Code. The instructions don’t drift between sessions or harnesses.

  2. It shows its work

The skills render pages and inspect them, check exact color pairs, count characters the way each platform does, and say what was verified and what wasn’t.

  3. You stay the one deciding

Read Back confirms the brief before work starts. Copywriter asks for your facts and leaves the personal lines for you to write.

The collection

Six skills, from the first brief to the final words.

Each one is a folder of instructions and helper scripts. Use one when you need it, or let them hand work to each other.

01
Align

Read Back

Before non-trivial work, your agent reads the request back as a short brief you can confirm or correct in one reply.

When to use it

“Check your understanding before you build this.” Useful when a request is ambiguous, touches several files or is hard to undo.

02
Plan

Research to Missions

Turns research and a goal into a plan another session can pick up: missions, tasks and a spec, checked by a validator.

When to use it

“Turn these notes into an implementation plan.” Useful when the thinking is done and the work needs to be split up.

03
Remember

Ledger

Records each request and what was built from it, and retires things cleanly so your agent stops loading what you no longer use.

When to use it

“What did we build for this request?” Keeps the active list in the guide your agent already reads.

04
Art direct

Thematic

Choose a visual direction from ten researched AW26/27 and SS27 themes, with exact color tokens, contrast checks and advice for your interface.

When to use it

“Help me choose a theme for this interface.” Compare a shortlist, inspect the tokens, and apply the one you choose.

05
Refine

Typography

Sets type roles, hierarchy and leading for the person reading, then renders the page and inspects it before calling a change done.

When to use it

“Review the typography in this screen.” Works from your real content and styles, at the widths and themes you use.

06
Write

Copywriter

Writes, rewrites and reviews public copy from who is reading, where, and what you can prove. It never invents numbers or quotes.

When to use it

“Write the launch post for LinkedIn and X.” Checks each channel’s limits, and coaches instead of writing where a venue bans AI-written text.

How we built this

This site was made with the skills it offers.

We made the decisions. The agent did the careful work and checked back with us.

  1. 01

    Thematic

Turned our logo into the OneZeroBoth Light theme: palette, color roles and tokens.

  2. 02

    Typography

Set the type, then rendered the page at desktop, tablet and phone widths before each change counted as done.

  3. 03

    Read Back and Copywriter

Reviewed the first version of this page, asked us who it was for and what it meant, confirmed the brief, then rewrote it from our answers.

  4. 04

    Ledger

Recorded each request and what changed, so the next session knows why the site is the way it is.

Questions

Before you install.

What is a skill?

A folder of instructions and supporting files that teaches your agent a repeatable way to handle a task. Your agent loads it when the task calls for it.

Who made these?

OneZeroBoth, a studio. One, zero, both: human and agent, working in one shared process. The source for the skills and this site is on GitHub.

Do I need both agents?

No. Install for Codex, Claude Code, or both. The collection works with either local agent.

Can I install with npx?

Not yet. The installer is prepared for npm, but the package hasn’t been published. Use the download and the command above for now.

Will it overwrite my existing skills?

No. Identical bundles are skipped. If an existing skill differs, the installer stops before writing any skills. Back up and move that folder aside if you want to install this version.

Does this install into Claude on the web?

No. The installer targets local Codex and Claude Code skills folders. It doesn’t upload skills to Claude on the web or Cowork.
